 Capacity: 10mA in the HT side for all sets.

  Transformer: H.V. Transformer used in the Test set is cast resin type of graded insulation with center  
  point of H.V. winding grounded.

  Protection:  Zero start interlocking & door-interlock is to be provided. Snap acting automatic tripping of  
  H.V. circuit in case of overload or breakdown of oil sample under test.

  Overvoltage indication (audio & visual) is also incorporated.

  Metering: Analog meter for manually & motor operated sets. Digital display for automatic  sets.

  Test Vessel: As per IS 6792:1992. A gauge is provided along with the cell to adjust the gap.

Transformer Turns Ratio Meter is compact in size and is capable to measure actual turns ratio of different types of transformers like Distribution, Power, CT, PT, Auto-transformers, Control & Measuring transformers etc.

  DOUBLE FREQUENCY DOUBLE VOLTAGE TEST SET

This test set provides a continuously variable output voltage at  double frequency to test the insulation between turns of coils, layer to layer, terminals of windings with either uniform or  graded insulation  and 
also between the windings and earth, with graded insulation of both Distribution and  Power transformers. 
An alternating voltage of sine wave form (as much as possible) at double frequency (100 Hz.) and double 
in amplitude can be applied at one side of the  transformer under test while  the windings, which are  not 
connected to the  source of  excitation, are  left  on open circuit. This higher frequency is considered to 
avoid excessive excitation current during the testing.

Voltage source: 
To generate a voltage at 100 Hz., one 3-phase squirrel cage induction motor is given a  supply through a star-delta switch. This motor drives the slip ring induction motor (generator). A variable voltage is also supplied to the generator thereby producing double frequency, which along with the output voltage of the generator is available across the terminals of the Set.

make High voltage testing sets are suitable for Power frequency AC high voltage test on transformers, motors, insulators, cables etc. The sets are capable of giving continuously variable AC HIGH VOLTAGE from zero to maximum rated output voltage.

Input: Generally, 230 Volts, 50Hz, single phase AC, upto 10KVA & 400/415V, two phase out of three 
phases for sets beyond 10KVA.
However, we also manufacture AC H.V. sets workable on other input voltage at extra cost.

Output:
Continuously variable from zero to maximum rated output voltage.

Capacity: Spread over a wide range of sets from 2.5KV to 300KV AC having capacities from several VA to hundreds of  KVA.
Duty cycle:
Intermittent i.e., 5 minutes ON, 10 minutes OFF. However, test sets of  continuous or other duty cycles can also be manufactured at extra cost.  

Metering: Analog voltmeter & milliammeter/ammeter. Digital meters may be provided at extra cost.

Protection:
  Tripping mechanism for protecting the H.V. transformer against over loading. The tripping mechanism can be adjusted at 25,50 & 100% of the rated current by a rotary switch. Below 100mA & 
above 20mA two adjustable tripping ranges are at 50% &100%, while for sets of 20mA capacity or below only 100% is adjustable [If required by the users tripping current can be made adjustable at other values, at extra cost].  
Apart from tripping mechanism, Zero start interlocking along with Overvoltage alarm & indication are provided.

Mode of operation:
Sets are generally, motor operated beyond 20KVA & 50KV. Motorisation facility can be available below the specified value at extra cost.

H.V Transformer:  
H.V.Transformer used for the testing purpose can be oil cooled indoor type or Resin cast dry type as found suitable or particularly required by the customer. The H.V. winding of the high voltage testing transformers is of graded insulation, one end of which is grounded through milliammeter and tripping device while the other end remains in floating condition as H.V. terminal. These testing transformers are specially designed to withstand frequent intermittent spark over or momentary short circuit conditions under which such testing 
transformers are supposed to operate.

Discharge Rod:
For device under tests having large capacitance, discharge rod may be provided at an extra cost.

TRANSFORMER WINDING RESISTANCE METER

This Test set is suitable to measure winding resistance of transformers, single or 3-phase, star or delta connected upto several MVA.Two independent displays read the resistance of both primary & secondary windings simultaneously. However, primary or secondary winding can also be measured separately. 
DC Power source allows the selected current to flow through the winding /windings and the voltage developed across the winding are sent to instrumentation amplifiers, thereby displaying directly the ohmic value.

                      TAN-DELTA & RESISTIVITY TEST FOR INSULATING OIL

 TDRNT02 measures dielectric parameters like D.C. resistivity, dielectric constant and loss factor of the  
 insulating oil of transformers, circuit breakers etc.
